Ordine al Merito

The National Congress of Italian Canadians (NCIC) has represented Canadians of Italian heritage in economic, social and political issues affecting the quality of life for all Canadians. The Toronto District of the National Congress of Italian Canadians is dedicated to raising awareness of the many positive contributions Italian Canadians continue to make to Canadian society. The Ordine al Merito is an award of excellence that was created by the NCIC-TD in 1988. Since then, it has presented its highest award of merit to many Italian Canadians who have made outstanding contributions to our society.

Since 1998, the NCIC-TD has also presented the YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT AWARD, honouring Italian Canadian youth between the ages of 18-30, who have contributed to the betterment of our society.
